About Me

Hi, I'm Rebecca and I write several blogs. Two are here at typepad: Potlikker, in which I share recipes and sometimes anecdotes about growing up with a southern sense of taste and bekka, which focuses on several of my creative interests including knitting, sewing, crafting, quilting, photography, and playing accordion.

In "real life" I'm an academic librarian and writer/editor with degrees in Art, Library Science, and American History.

Mostly I hope to inspire you to return to your kitchen and fry something good, or pick up a new or long-forgotten hobby like knitting, sewing, or quilting.
