I have a 1.68 pound pork sirloin roast (boneless) that I transferred from freezer to fridge. Since hubba hubba hubby will be home tomorrow night for dinner, I want to have fresh meat on the table for supper. We get so tired of eating out almost every day and Saturday night we have a couple date with Jennifer and Mike at Johnny Carino's, 7 o'clock sharp. There's no doubt that I'll get the eggplant parmigiana; it's the best. So one night of the week Ian gets a home-cooked meal. I don't mind to do it for him, but who has the time? When it comes to roasts I'm clueless. In the past I've thrown them in the crock pot and let them cook all day. The one or two times I did that, neither Ian nor I were thrilled with the results.
I'm searching the web for recipes. Thus far I found Roast Pork with Apple-Mustard Glaze, Orange herbed pork roast, Seeded pork roast, Apple-glazed pork roast with sauerkraut, Italian pork roast (from the Lexington Herald-Courier), Coca Cola pork roast, and Pulled-pork with root beer sauce, which I'm probably not going to try. Decisions, decisions.
