Almost a week has passed since I attended the Jonesborough Progressive Dinner. The food was delightful, but my photos were poor because the lighting in the homes was dim. I took non-food photos. Some I'm satisfied with. The trouble was poor lighting and my distaste for using the flash.
Favorite foods I ate: The fig, mascarpone, & puff pastry h'ourderves at our first stop; The garlic-mashed potatoes at our third stop; and the tiramisu at the last stop (I don't care for tiramisu. Methinks it's over-rated; Mom does too). Oh now, the soup course was good, too; some kind of butternut squash thing; yummy and sweet.
The entree was prime rib; accompanying horseradish was a little weak and the rolls were disappointing. However, the home we ate in more than made up for those deficiencies.
