Florida's agricultural industry plans to devote 2 million acres of crops slated for ethanol production. Their Ag Commissioner, Charles Bronson, bragged that Florida can outproduce any state in the union. Why? Beacuse mass citrus acreage was leveled because of the now-defunct citrus canker eradication program.
